“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.” ~ Isaiah 40:7-8

“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” – 1 Corinthians 13:13
“This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” – John 15:12-13
As we approach Valentine’s Day, I know the world emphasizes the fleshly love towards others, but let us love others how Christ loves us and also let us keep our focus on loving Him – the Savior of the world. 🙂
These cake pops were one of my first attempts to try making them. I used a mold to form them which definitely helped…just rolling the cake base into a ball in the palm of your hand doesn’t work out too well 😉 I hope to improve on them as I receive orders! What a fun way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with those you love, eating cake pop treats!
“For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.” ~ Mark 10:7-8
This was a wedding cake for some friends that I actually made almost 2 years ago and never posted it. Hope you enjoy the pics from the past! I love making wedding cakes – big and stylish. It’s such a blessing and neat to have a hand in somebody’s unforgettable day! God’s blessings to this couple as they seek after and follow Him together as one, during their 2nd year anniversary and all year through! 🙂
“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.” ~ Proverbs 31:30
What a wonderful mother the Lord has blessed me with!! Even though my mom is pretty, she fears the Lord and follows Him, which has far greater importance than looks!! I’m so blessed to have her as a spiritual leader!! Love you Mommy!!! 😊
In Hebrews 13 verses 20-21 reads “Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
What a PUR-FECT way to celebrate a little girl’s birthday with a hello kitty cake!😉 Another cake order accomplished!! Was a little nervous how this little kitty would trun out and glad the Lord helped with it all! 😊
In 1 Corinthians 10:31 it says “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
The lace that you see on the cake is fondant. I used a lace impression rubber piece from Country Kitchen to make it. Once pressed in the fondant and cut out, I smeared water on the back to make it sticky to keep it up against the cake. Also the butterfly cut-outs were enjoyable with how easy and decorative they are and they just simply add to the style of cake! Like the verse says, may we do all to the glory of God in everything we do.
A couple of verses that goes with this cake is from Luke 2:7 ” And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.” And from John 3:16-17 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
I enjoyed seeing this cake come together by adding different effects!! Also I had some help from some of my siblings on this one, with decorating. 🙂 What a wonderful, rejoicing and exciting time of year to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!!
